Target Match Play Rounds: This is a tiered-swiss format tournament, slowly compressing from rounds 1-10. Rounds 11+ are pure swiss (1v2v3v4 / 5v6v7v8 / etc)
Players will be placed into four-player groups (occasionally three-player) to compete on an individual, randomly selected machine.
Points will be awarded based upon performance on that machine (3/2/1/0) (3/2/1 for 3 player groups) and added to a running total for the tournament.
The first player to reach the target value of 30 points will be crowned INDISC Classics Target Match Play Champion for 2020. Should multiple players reach the target value during the same round, the player with the higher total point value will be declared champion. If multiple players hold the same highest total point value, the tied players will play a single-game tiebreaker to determine the champion. If no players reach the target value upon the conclusion of round 16, the player with the highest point value will be declared champion.
There will be no tiebreakers besides that to declare a champion. Position ties will be broken by the number of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for each of the completed rounds.
Final Rounds: None
