INDISC Challenges

2024 INDISC Challenges are available to all registered tournament participants. Challenge winners will receive a limited edition commemorative challenge coin* to celebrate their victory (or defeat).

Unless otherwise noted, ties will be broken by the BEST qualifying game on a card, then second best, and so on.

  • Ruler of the Universe
    Awarded to the player with the best combined performance in High Stakes, Classics and The Open IFPA World Championships
  • The Open Champion
    Awarded to winner of The Open IFPA World Championship

  • Classics Crusher
    Awarded to winner of the Classics Championship

  • Bullseye!
    Awarded to winner of the Classics Target Match Play Championship
  • The Whale
    Awarded to winner of the High Stakes Championship

  • Women’s Champion
    Awarded to winner of The INDISC Women’s Championship

  • Age Doesn’t Matter
    Awarded to the winner of the Seniors division. Must be 55 or over as of January 4, 2024

  • The Kids are Alright
    Awarded to the winner of the Youth Championship. Must be 12 or under as of January 4, 2024

  • Master of their Domain
    Awarded to the winner of the Volunteers tournament.
  • Sunday Slugger
    Awarded to the winner of the Sunday Strikes tournament.
  • Best Woman in The Open
    Awarded to the woman with the highest qualifying position in The Open.

  • There and Back Again
    Awarded to the highest ranking international player (must reside outside North America) in The Open.

  • Just Another Sunday Monthly…
    Awarded to the best SoCal player. Must RESIDE in one of the 10 counties considered to be in Southern California per Wikipedia.

  • First Time, Big Time!
    Awarded to the first time player in any INDISC tournament who finishes highest in The Open IFPA World Championship. Must be ranked outside of the top 500 as of January 4, 2024.

  • On the Brink
    Awarded to the player with the best combined performance in The Open, Classics, High Stakes and Classics Target Match Play without qualifying for finals in any of these events.
  • No Safety Net
    Awarded to the player who finishes highest in The Open IFPA World Championship with an EM as the 5th game on their qualifying entry.
  • I’m not dead… I don’t want to go on the cart!
    Qualify for any division finals on a card with a single game scoring exactly 1 point. First qualifier wins.
  • Teleport to Finals
    Awarded to the player who qualifies in The Open having played the fewest cards. Voided cards will count as cards played.
  • Who Needs DMDs?
    Qualify for finals in The Open IFPA World Championship with a card consisting of only pre-DMD era games.

  • Five Score Friday
    Be in exactly 100th place at the end of The Open qualifying on Friday night (January 5th, 2024). Player must have submitted a complete 5 game card.
  • Relay Wrangler
    Qualify for Classics on a card with only EMs. First to qualify wins, one winner only.

  • Undefeated! (sorta)
    Awarded to the highest qualifier in The Open IFPA World Championship who was eliminated from the playoffs without a last place finish.

  • The Price is Right
    Submit a card in The Open IFPA World Championship with combined game scores closest to 999,999,990 without going over.
  • Go Binary!
    Submit a card in The Open IFPA World Championship with combined game scores consisting of all 1s and 0s. If there are no cards with all 1s and 0s, most 1s and 0s wins. Thanks for the idea Koi!
  • All Manufacturers Accounted For
    Qualify for The Open IFPA World Championship with a card consisting of one game from 5 separate manufacturers.

  • The Maestro of Mediocrity
    Finish exactly in the middle of The Open IFPA World Pinball Championships.
  • …And All I Got Was This Challenge Coin
    Awarded to the player who submits the 1000th card overall. The card must be complete. Voided cards do not count towards the total.

  • Deep Pockets
    Awarded to the player who submits the most cards combined, including voids, in all card based events.
  • Our Hero!
    Awarded to the person who spends the most hours during the event (open to close) volunteering. If tied, first person to have officially volunteered wins.
  • Win it For the Kids!
    Awarded to the winner of the Project Pinball side tournament.

*Individual players who win multiple challenges will be showered with accolades and acknowledged on the indisc.com website for years to come. However, only one physical coin will be awarded per person, per event year. Thanks for understanding.
